As a small business owner, I know that finding and using the right tools to enhance productivity is vital. I have been fortunate to find some excellent tools and resources and love to share them with fellow business owners. I only recommend tools that I am confident are reliable and worth their weight in gold. Here are the tools I use and recommend:

OnePageCRM

I was lucky to be recommended this by a networking colleague and have found it absolutely invaluable for keeping me on track. OnePageCRM is a low cost CRM which combines a task list, contacts database and project tracking. It links to Xero, Gmail, Google Calendar and has other integrations such as Mailchimp. It also finds social media channels for contacts which you can access directly from the contacts list. You can scan in your handwritten notes, make notes about conversations, set reminders – everything you would expect from a decent CRM. Most importantly, security is taken very seriously and it’s GDPR compliant. It’s the first thing I open at the start of my working day as it opens in a simple To Do List, with all the tasks I need to follow up on in an easy to follow and easy to use format. The mobile app means I can access and update information on the go and has proved to be an asset. If you’d like to try it for yourself, there is a free trial. Acuity Scheduling

Where would I be without this brilliant scheduling tool? Using Acuity means my clients can view my calendar to book a complimentary Discovery Call, a LinkedIn Training session, a business meeting or even request a LinkedIn Profile Review.  It saves so much time and avoids email ‘ping-pong’.  My clients like it as it saves them time too.  Access Acuity Scheduling here

A key pillar of my marketing strategy, LinkedIn is a rich and diverse source of connections, introducers and advocates for my business as well as a source of knowledge and information. Using LinkedIn on a daily basis – even just 15 minutes a day – can make such a difference to increase visibility and build a good reputation for business owners.
